Countryside Pet Sitting takes animal health and safety seriously. Suzanne and every member of her team have successfully completed the Pet Sitters’ International Pet CPR and First Aid Course, so you can feel confident that emergencies will be handled calmly and correctly.

She also brings a lifetime of hands-on experience from growing up on a farm, where she routinely gave shots and treatments to hundreds of dogs, cats, and sheep under her family’s and veterinarians’ guidance. That background means she’s comfortable with livestock and companion animals alike, even when care gets medically complex.

Beyond formal training, Suzanne had extensive real-world experience with administering injections and vaccinations, recognizing early signs of medical issues like changes in appetite, mobility, or behavior, and knowing when to alert you or your vet.

Care also includes applying ointments and topical treatments, changing bandages, and closely monitoring how wounds or skin conditions are healing—always following your veterinarian’s instructions and keeping you updated after each visit.
